I am sure many of you have heard that Barry Simpson was jailed yesterday by Judge Powell, this is the same Judge that didn't protect little Daytona Robertson when he had her life right in the palm of his hands. This Judge had 4 officers waiting to arrest Barry, this Judge not only arrested him but also humiliated him. Why 4 officers for one guy who isn't a very big guy, all Barry has done is try and protect his children from anymore abuse, the courts like to shut up the non-offending parent and punish the children. How many more children are going to die because of these Judges rulings.
Judge Powell jailed him on an old contempt order from another judge for failure to pay child support, Barry has paid over 11,000.00 dollars since March in child support and its not good enough, Barry has been targeted by the Judge.
Below is a list of State Reps and Senators, please send them an email and letting them know that we have had enough of the abuse of power by these individuals, first it was Bambi being jailed on Friday by Judge Henderson and now Barry by Judge Powell
We must make a stand and let our voices be heard, enough is enough!
These parents should of never been jailed, first on Bambi's case her daughter is lawfully in the custody of Mom, the courts failed to give her due process by having a temporary custody hearing and then Barry showed the judge a copy of where he paid his ex 6,000.00 for child support and then also gave two checks that totaled 700.00 but Judge Powell continued to have him arrested and jailed for 88 days.
There is no justice within the Sedgwick county courts, these people are out of control
