A litigant in Judge Russell's court was told the following by their attorney: "You are not going to beat these people". "If you don't shut your mouth, they will take custody away from you". A litigant in Judge Russell's court asked their attorney to reschedule a hearing, because of a
vacation conflict. The attorney stated that he could not reschedule the hearing. He said that Judge Russell and the opposing attorney had been good friends for many years and he did not want to put Judge Russell in a position to have to hurt the opposing attorney's feelings. What can you say about this? This is an interesting way to run a court.
